29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms are more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from another scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used. a. In the Staging Area of a temporary construction worksite located at of near 1013 N Main Street in Trenton, Florida; On or about August 19, 2021, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards ranging from 10 to 13-foot, in that an access ladder for the scaffold system was not used as employees accessed the scaffold to perform brick laying work.
