On or about August 19, 2021, at the residential construction site located on 2803 Merlin Way in Katy, TX, two employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard while operating a pneumatic nail gun without wearing eye protective equipment.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). On or about August 19, 2021, at a residential construction site located on 2803 Merlin Way in Katy, TX, two employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet when performing roofing work on the roof of a one-story house without a fall protection system.
