29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: a) On or about August 21, 2021 an employee of RM Construction Services, LLC., was exposed to fall hazards greater than 16 feet while conducting framing operations standing on a 4 ft x 8 ft sheet of plywood that was placed on the scissor of an all-terrain forklift. The employee used the plywood sheet as a scaffold platform and was not protected by a fall protection system. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
