29 CFR  1910.22(b):  For every walking and working surface used for storage, the employer did not ensure that the walking and working surface could support the maximum intended load for that surface and mark or post the floor loading signs in a conspicuous place in each space to which they relate.   On or about August 18, 2021, or at times prior thereto, at the storage area above the supervisors offices, the employer did not ensure the walking and working surface could support the maximum intended load and the floor loading signs were not posted.  This exposed employees to fall and caught-in hazards.

29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:   On or about August 21, 2021, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure machines were properly guarded.  Employees were exposed to the following:  a.  In the Eco Safe area, hydraulic press brakes were not guarded at the point-of-operation.  Employees operated the machine with a two-hand control and this exposed other employees in the area to caught-in hazards.    b.  In the Tools & Die shop, an horizontal band saw was missing part of the guard that covered the unused portion of the blade.  This exposed employees to caught-in hazards.  c.  In the Tools & Die shop, an engine lathe being operated did not have a chuck guard installed  to prevent the operator from contacting the chuck while it is in operation.  This exposed the employees to a caught-in hazard.

29 CFR  1910.242(b):  Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.  On or about August 18, 2021, and at times prior thereto, at the MP-26 press in the FRB area, the employer did not ensure the pressure of the compressed air, used for cleaning, was reduced to below 30 psi.  This exposed the employees to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1)(i):  The dimension of the working space in the direction of access to live parts operating at 600 volts or less and likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while alive was less than indicated in Table S1.  On or about August 18, 2021, and at times prior thereto, in the maintenance shop, the employer did not ensure that the space in front of an electrical disconnect panel was not blocked by a work table, tool box, and work equipment.  This exposed employees to electrical hazards.
