29 CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v): Pendant control box(es) were not constructed to prevent electrical shock: a.) Edro Specialty Steels, Inc.; P & H crane (Serial #11332) area - On or about August 8, 2021, and times prior thereto, employees were exposed to an electrical shock hazard while working with a pendant control box associated with the 15 ton bridge crane. The pendant box was shocking employees when they were moving pieces of metal from the saws. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
