29 CFR 1910.134(a)(2): 29 CFR 1910.134(a)(2): The employer did not provide appropriate respirators when necessary to protect employee health: a) Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach located at 1050 Southwest 24th Avenue Deerfield Beach, FL 33442: On or about August 30, 2021, in the transitional room and monitoring room, the employees were provided only with surgical mask or other deficient protective device for protection against aerosolized SARS-CoV-2 virus. At a minimum, a N95 NIOSH-certified filtering facepiece respirator is necessary to protect employees from aerosolized SARS-CoV-2 virus.
