29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. On or about August 17, 2021, at approximately 2:30 pm, an employee operating a commercial mower suffered an injury resulting in a hospitalization. The hospitalization was not reported within 24 hours to the local Area Office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The Austin Area Office was notified on August 26, 2021 at approximately 6:00 pm, or approximately 9 days later.
