OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees including struck by and fire hazards. A) At the number 1 Scavenge Baghouse, located at 142 McPherson Drive, Hazlehurst, GA. on or about September 2, 2021, and or times prior to, employees routinely walk in the area where the deflagration exhaust vents are located, thereby exposing employees to explosion and fire hazards. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement would be to install deflector plates that vented to a safe location.

A) At the number 1 Baghouse, the number 1 Cooler, and west exterior of cooler building, on or about September 7, 2021, and or times prior to, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that a self closing gate to access work platforms was not provided for employees utilizing fixed ladders.
