29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. On or about August 17, 2021, at approximately 12:00 pm, an employee assisting in moving a commercial copying machine suffered an injury resulting in an in-patient hospitalization. The hospitalization was not reported within 24-hours to the local Area Office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The Austin Area Office was notified on August 31, 2021 at approximately 3:30 pm, or approximately 14 days later.
