OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards while walking or working in the area of lifted loads without adequate safety latches on hooks to protect them from being struck-by 12" gas distribution pipes: a) 1221 NY-146, Clifton Park, NY - On or about September 3, 2021 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while working around gas line pipes being lifted with hooks that do not have their safety latches in place.
