29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) At the main shop, on or about September 9, 2021, where the point of operation of a Kingsland Hydraulic Punch Press was not guarded, exposing employees to caught-in hazards. b) At the main shop, on or about September 9, 2021, where the rotating parts of a Pro Cut Drill Press were not guarded, exposing employees to caught-in hazards. c) At the main shop, on or about September 9, 2021, where the rotating parts of a Lown B400 Roller were not guarded, exposing employees to caught-in hazards. d) At the main shop, on or about September 9, 2021, where the unused portion of the blade of a Hydmech Horizontal Band Saw was not guarded, exposing employees to struck-by hazards. e) At the main shop, on or about September 9, 2021, where the point of operation of three Haco Press Brakes was not guarded, exposing employees to caught-in hazards. f) At the main shop, on or about September 9, 2021, where the point of operation of two Chicago Dreis & Krump Press Brakes was not guarded, exposing employees to caught-in hazards.
