29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury. (a) Location - 23 Ginn Road, Winchester, MA On or about 9/14/2021, employees framing gable end walls at a residential construction site were not protected from a struck by hazard where the employer failed to instruct each employee in the proper technique and equipment to use while manually lifting walls into place. Two employees were struck by a wall when it fell because it was not lifted with jacks to ensure employees were clear of the wall area and kick plates were not provided to prevent accidental displacement.
