Equipment parked on inclines shall have the wheels chocked and the parking brake set. 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section; a) On or about September 16, 2021, the employer failed to utilize a parking brake or wheel chocks for parked equipment such as a Petrbilt tractor (#715031) and a Towmaster Trailer (#T50rG), when performing a post trip vehicle inspection adnd brake service maintenance. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
