29 CFR  1926.25(a):  During the course of construction, alteration or repairs, framing and scrap lumber with protruding nails and all other materials were not kept clear from work areas, passageways and stairs in and around buildings or other structures.  Jobsite: Quantities of scrap materials were not kept clear from work areas and posed  jagged, sharp, impalement hazards were present beneath the extension ladder and the structure on which employees were working with no fall protection.
