29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely. Employees were allowed to work on surfaces which did not have the requisite strength and structural integrity: a) On or about September 16, 2021 at the Bull Run Power Plant "Charlie" and "Delta" precipitator insulation project employees were exposed to fall and laceration hazards while on double and quadruple electrical insulator compartments and the employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely. Subcontractor employees were allowed to walk and work on insulator compartments which did not have the requisite strength and structural integrity.
