29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that the floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. The employer did not ensure that when wet processes are used, drainage is be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats are provided. a) Production Line, Extruder Number 1: On or about September 21, 2021, the employer exposed employees to slip and fall hazards, in that the employer did not maintain the floor in a dry condition where improperly insulated cooling lines created water condensation which accumulated on the floor. b) Production Line, Extruder Number 2: On or about September 21, 2021, the employer exposed employees to slip and fall hazards, in that the employer did not maintain the floor in a dry condition where improperly insulated cooling lines created water condensation which accumulated on the floor.
