29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or before July 20, 2021 and at times prior, employees were not protected by a fall protection system while working on the edge of the third level of a building at approximately 20 feet. This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards of more than 6 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) On or before July 20, 2021 and at times prior, three employees accessed the landing surface of the third level of the building using an extension ladder. The ladder side rails were not extended at least 3 feet above the landing surface of the third level. This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
