Thermal Lab (Room 144) - On or about October 6, 2021, employees were required to respond to leaks of nitrogen gas during thermal testing and potentially exposed to low atmospheric oxygen levels, and the employer did not have a written emergency action plan. OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(1): The employer did not develop and implement a written emergency response plan to handle anticipated emergencies prior to commencement of emergency response operations: a. Thermal Lab (Room 144) - On or about October 6, 2021, employees were required to respond to leaks of nitrogen gas during thermal testing and potentially exposed to low atmospheric oxygen levels, and the employer did not have a written emergency response plan.

OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6): The employer did not provide training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i) through (q)(6)(v) for employees who participated in or were expected to participate in emergency response: a. Thermal Lab (Room 144) - On or about October 6, 2021, employees were required to respond to leaks of nitrogen gas during thermal testing, and the employer failed to provide training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i) through (q)(6)(v).
