29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1):When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative controls were not utilized: Employees were exposed to noise hazards. Employees operating the staple set machine were exposed to continuous noise levels at 185.1% of permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 94.4 dBA), during the 323 minutes sampling period on October 13, 2021; exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 157 minutes not sampled. The employer failed to utilized feasible administrative controls subjecting employees to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16 of the standard.
