29 CFR 1926.1051(a): A stairway or ladder was not provided at all personnel points of access where there is a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more: a) 204 Hartford Tpke., Shrewsbury, MA: On or about October 12, 2021, An employee framing a residence was observed exiting a 113 inch high work location from the top of a wall plate and coming down to the floor below in a two-jump maneuver . The first jump was 43 inches and the second jump was 70 inches to get from the top of the wall plate to the floor below and a stairway or ladder was not provided at all personnel points of access where there is a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
