Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards while performing residential roofing activities. This was most recently observed at 9910 Q St, Omaha, NE 68127, on October 12th, 2021, where the employer has employees working directly adjacent to an unprotected edge of a residential structure. Roof Right was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1443203, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 10th, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 2405 South 15th St., Omaha, NE 68108. Roof Right was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1269427, Citation #1, Item #2, and became a final order on December 27, 2017.
