29 CFR 1910.134(a)(2): A respirator was not provided by the employer to each employee when such equipment was necessary to protect the health of the employee. 542 North High Street, East Haven: On or about January 3, 2022, the employer did not provide appropriate respiratory protection to employees who provided direct care and personal care to clients who tested positive for COVID-19. Employees were provided surgical masks. The appropriate respirator is an N95 respirator, provided in accordance with 1910.134(c) OSHA's respiratory protection program.
