29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 10/18/2021, Kenneth Masters DBA as Masters Construction was building the exterior wall on the back of a residence with a walkout basement located on lot 331 on Knothole Lane in Wentzville, MO. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. The owner and an employee were observed working near the unprotected edge of the floor, approximately nine feet above feet above the ground, without utilizing fall protection. Masters Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1333906, citation number 1, item number 2, issued on 8/16/2018, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/15/2018, with respect to a workplace located on lot 681 on Mule Creek Drive in Wentzville, MO. Masters Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1333895, citation number 2, item number 1, issued on 8/16/2018, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/15/2018, with respect to a workplace located on lot 681 on Mule Creek Drive in Wentzville, MO.
