29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a-20 Franklin Turnpike, Mahwah NJ 07403: (Unprotected elevated ledge) An employee engaged in metal facia activities on an elevated ledge was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10ft to the asphalt below in which a means of fall protection had not been utilized. Condition observed on or about 10/20/2021
