All personal protective equipment shall be of safe design and construction for the work to be performed. a) Covanta Camden GP, LLC. - Boiler House/Unit #2 Ash Discharger: The employer did not provide the employees with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect the neck area, forearms and wrists while the employees were required to visually inspect the furnace area water level, this area has the potential to release hot gases, vapors and can cause splash hazards, occurred on or about 10/10/2021.
