29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Worksite located at 101 E. Gay St., Warrensburg, Missouri- Employees were observed traversing up and down the roof by merely holding on to a rope. The employees failed to be connected to the rope and were exposed to fall hazards while on this steep roof. The Jose Nunez Roofing company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1479920, citation number 1, item number1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 1, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 506 Rosebriar Ct., Gower, Missouri.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: Worksite located at 101 E. Gay St., Warrensburg, Missouri- Employees were using a ladder to access and egress off the roof structure in which the ladder was not extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface, thus, exposing employees to fall hazards. The Jose Nunez Roofing company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1479920, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on September 1, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 506 Rosebriar Ct., Gower, Missouri.
