29 CFR 1910.119(l)(1): The employer shall establish and implement written procedures to manage changes (except for "replacements in kind") to process chemicals, technology, equipment, and procedures; and, changes to facilities that affect a covered process. (b) On October 11, 2021 when outside contractors arrived at the facility to investigate a smell of rubber burning from the compressor coupler area, the contractors upsized the Dodge Raptor E60 coupler to a Dodge Raptor E70 coupler, which was installed and aligned without a management of change.
