29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): The ladder extension was positioned such that deflection under a load, by itself, would cause the ladder to slip off its support: a) At 16790 Perdido Key Drive, The Beach & Yacht Club at Perdido Key, Pensacola, Florida: On or about October 25, 2021 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use an extension ladder to gain access to the roof and the rails of the ladder did not extend at least three feet above the roof landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 17 feet 2 inches to the ground below.
