29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. 1000 North Ave., Plainfield, NJ - 1000 North Ave Project The employer did not ensure that sub-employees were protected from falls. Sub-contractor employees engaged in residential framing activities, installing joists, worked at or near an unprotected edge were not attached with a lanyard to their fall harness, and/or were not protected by any other means of fall protection. Violation observed on or about October 25, 2021 ReiFast Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1546798, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on October 5, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 321 Hillside Road, Newark, DE, 19702.
