29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) Nashville Federal Courthouse - the outside rotunda grounds: On or about 10/25/2021 and days prior, the employer exposed employees to an impalement hazard, workers were working from a portable 25' ladder that was secured to uncapped rebar/nail pins. b) Nashville Federal Courthouse - Main Entrance: On or about 10/25/2021 and days prior, the employer exposed employees to an impalement hazard, the rebar/nail pins used for bracing formwork was not capped.
