29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1):Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a) 929 Easton Road Abington, PA 19001: On or about October 26, 2021, the portable fire extinguisher located in the stock room was not mounted, located and identified so that it may be readily accessible to employees. The extinguisher was being stored on the floor next to the overhead door, behind a cart and stacked boxes. Family Dollar, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1398022, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 5, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1274 Westchester Avenue, Bronx, NY 10459.
