29 CFR 1926.760(d)(1): Guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems and their components shall conform to the criteria in � 1926.502 (see Appendix G to this subpart). a. On a roof of Bldg. 5147, at the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay Trident Refit Facility, on or about October 22, 2021, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that the personnel fall arrest system of a sheet metal worker was not rigged in a way to prevent free fall more than 6-feet, or contact to any lower level.
