29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points and rotating parts: (a) Jobsite located at 3407 S. Lawrence St. Philadelphia, PA - 19148 - The employer did not ensure that one or more methods of guarding was provided for the employees who operate the Cretel Fish Skinning Machine, Model 460-TAC thereby exposing the employees in coming in contact with the skinning machine rotating parts and sharp blades. An employee suffered from a partial de-gloving of the left hand while operating the machine. Condition observed on or about November 3, 2021.
