Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse. a) 1100 Northern Blvd, Manhasset NY: Boxes were improperly stacked in the receiving /shipping area exposing employees to being struck by falling objects; on or about 11/4/2021. b) 1100 Northern Blvd, Manhasset NY: Carts and rolling rods overloaded with merchandise are stored in the stockroom aisles exposing employees to being struck by falling objects; on or about 11/4/2021. NOTE: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
