29 CFR  1910.37(a)(4): Safeguard(s) designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting), were not in proper working order at all times:   a. The store room - On or about November 08, 2021, under the lower partition, the sprinkler heads were obstructed by materials stacked to within 17 inches of the sprinkler heads, exposing employees to a fire hazard.  b. The hall to the bathroom - On or about November 8, 2021, the emergency exit sign in the hall, intended to guide employees from the bathrooms to the exit in the event of an emergency, did not activate during power outage or test, exposing employees to a fire or emergency hazard.  c. Throughout the sales floor - On or about November 8, 2021, there were missing suspended ceiling tiles, which served as members of a fire barrier and smoke partition, exposing employees to a fire hazard.  d. The hall in front of the bathroom - On or about  November 8, 2021, a sprinkler head was obstructed by the ceiling, exposing employees to a fire hazard.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
