29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest:  a) 18 Fernleaf Ave., Longmeadow, MA: On or about November 9, 2021, An employee was observed working on the roof of a residential structure engaged in painting activities with unprotected sides and edges greater than 22 feet above the ground below and he was not protected by either guard rails, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems exposing them to fall hazards.   Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards:  a) 18 Fernleaf Ave., Longmeadow, MA:  On or about November 9, 2021,  An employee was exposed to fall hazards as part of their assigned duties and the employer had not trained them prior to exposure to these hazards in topics such as but not limited to recognition of fall hazards, dangers of fall hazards and procedures each employee must take to prevent or minimize risk of such exposures.  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
