Framing materials such as wood, wooden framing members with nails protruding through, and miscellaneous tool & equipment were left scattered about on the lower roof passageway. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii):Each employee on a walking/working surface shall be protected from tripping in or stepping into or through holes (including skylights) by covers.  A) 17 W Main St Bound Brook, NJ 08805 4th Floor  Holes approximately 6 inches by 6 inches were cut into the plywood floor to allow for water drainage from rain. Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  A) 17 W Main St Bound Brook, NJ 08805  Employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 13ft while using the lower roof to access the worksite without utilizing any form of fall protection. As employees exited the ladder that led to the lower roof they were exposed to an unprotected edge with a fall height of 13ft.  Hazard noted on 11/10/21  The Deugen Development was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1414809, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on 09/04/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 235 Rt 46 West Elmwood Park, NJ 07407.
