On or about November 9, 2021, at the above addressed jobsite, employees using pneumatic nail guns were not wearing safety glasses, thereby exposing employees to hazards associated with eye injuries.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a. On or about November 9, 2021, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential carpentry operations, eleven (11) feet nine (9) inches above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.  Chris Carpentry Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1200479, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on April 4, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2285 Elmira Avenull, Des Plaines, IL 60018.
