1926.502(h)(1)(v) The safety monitor shall not have other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function. On or about November 9, 2021, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 9199 Brandywines Rd, Northfield, Ohio 44062; the employer did not ensure employees working on the roof of a 2 car garage were protected from a fall of approximately 8.6 feet by utilizing a fall protection system. The Regency Roofing Companies Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1476468, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/22/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Gulls Cove, Stow, Ohio 44224. The Regency Roofing Companies Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1271833, citation number 01, item number 03 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/12/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 4980 Bar Harbor LN, Stow, Ohio, 44224.
