29 CFR 1910.23(b)(9):(9) Ladders are inspected before initial use in each work shift, and more frequently as necessary, to identify any visible defects that could cause employee injury. a) On or about November 8, 2021, the employer did not ensure that an employee using a 6 foot step ladder conducted a pre-use inspection prior to using a ladder for a maintenance activity. b) On or about November 17, 2021, a six foot Louisville step ladder was available for use and showed signs of visible damage including damaged footings, bent support braces and illegible information tag.

On or about November 17, 2021, the Apogee Wausau Group, Inc. dba Wausau Window and Wall Systems had not performed a periodic inspection of it's the energy control procedure for the 1275 Haas VF2 at least annually to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were being followed. b. On or about November 17, 2021, the Apogee Wausau Group, Inc. dba Wausau Window and Wall Systems had not performed a periodic inspection of it's the energy control procedure for the Elumatec SB2151 at least annually to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were being followed. c. On or about November 17, 2021, the Apogee Wausau Group, Inc. dba Wausau Window and Wall Systems had not performed a periodic inspection of it's the energy control procedure for the Graule Mill, Machine # 1284 at least annually to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were being followed. d. On or about November 17, 2021, the Apogee Wausau Group, Inc. dba Wausau Window and Wall Systems had not performed a periodic inspection of it's the energy control procedure for the EW Bliss Punch Press, Machine # 1524 at least annually to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were being followed. e. On or about November 17, 2021, the Apogee Wausau Group, Inc. dba Wausau Window and Wall Systems had not performed a periodic inspection of it's the energy control procedure for the Kaltenbach Auto Saw, Machine #1891 at least annually to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were being followed. f. On or about November 17, 2021, the Apogee Wausau Group, Inc. dba Wausau Window and Wall Systems had not performed a periodic inspection of it's the energy control procedure for the Emmegi Double Saw, Machine # 1760 at least annually to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were being followed. g. On or about November 17, 2021, the Apogee Wausau Group, Inc. dba Wausau Window and Wall Systems had not performed a periodic inspection of it's the energy control procedure for the Cope Saw, Machine # 1860 at least annually to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were being followed. h. On or about November 17, 2021, the Apogee Wausau Group, Inc. dba Wausau Window and Wall Systems had not performed a periodic inspection of it's the energy control procedure for the Mecal Geos, Machine # 1279 at least annually to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were being followed. i.
