Employees were exposed to fall hazards as a result of conducting framing activities without the use of a fall protection system, fall hazards associated with improper use of ladders, and lack of training. This condition exposed employees to a variety of hazards identified on site.    Abatement Note: OSHA defines a "competent" person as one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.
