29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding were not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips, and sparks. On or about November 17, 2021. employees were utilizing drill presses without guards: Instance A) Delta "shopmaster" located on the north center of the main bay without a guard in place for the rotating bit. Instance B) Drill press (no identifying markers) located on the north center of the main bay without a guard in place for the rotating bit, approximately four feet from "shopmaster" drill.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed. On or about November 17, 2021, the employer allowed several unused breaker openings to be present in the electrical panel located in the warehouse/storage area and in the following areas: Instance A) Mian shop/warehouse adjacent to bay door 1.
