29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not kept free and unobstructed.  Materials or equipment were placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route:  a. On or about November 18, 2021, at the Super Dollar Department Store; the means of egress, from the showroom, and an emergency exit single door were obstructed, by multiple boxes, mop buckets and brooms among other items.  b. On or about November 18, 2021, at the Super Dollar Department Store; the means of egress, from the showroom through the warehouse, including two exit double doors were obstructed, by multiple boxes, a hand truck and trash among other items.  c. On or about November 18, 2021, at the at the Super Dollar Department Store; the means of egress, from the warehouse mezzanine, including the emergency exit double door were obstructed, by multiple boxes among other items.  NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

On or about November 18, 2021, at the Super Dollar Department Store, the  showroom emergency exit single door and the door leading to the exterior,  at the ladies underwear section, did not have an illuminated exit sign.  b. On or about November 18, 2021, at the Super Dollar Department Store, the emergency exit double door, from the showroom through the warehouse, did not have an illuminated exit sign.  c. On or about November 18, 2021, at the Super Dollar Department Store, the warehouse emergency exit double door leading to the building exterior, did not have an illuminated exit sign.  NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

On or about November 18, 2021, at the Super Dollar Department Store warehouse, at least four electrical service panels were not readily accessible. Access to the panels was blocked with boxes, wood, and plastic pallets among other items, stored in the floor below and in front.
