29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(ii):Wood job-made ladders with spliced side rails shall be used at an angle such that the horizontal distance is one-eighth the working length of the ladder: (a) Jobsite located at 540 S. 52nd St. Philadelphia, PA - 19143 - Employees were permitted to access and egress the excavation from an approximately 13 foot wooden job-made ladder, approximately 11-feet above bottom of the excavation, with the base of the ladder set up approximately 3-feet away from the placement of the top of the ladder at the face of the excavation edge. Condition observed on or about November 23, 2021.
