29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which described how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200 paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training would be met a) KHY Refrigeration Inc.- Painting Area: Employees performing painting activities used hazardous chemicals such as Rayflex Acrylic Enamel automotive finish paint (containing methyl acetate 20-40%, Xylenes 0-20%), D-T 5 Virgin Lacquer Thinner (containing methanol 35-45%, toluene 25-35% ), and Acrylic Enamel Urethane Hardener (containing n-Butyl acetate 30-33%, hexamethylene 60-66%). b) KHY Refrigeration Inc- Welding Area: Employees engaged in welding activities used hazardous chemicals such as Nitrogen Gas (100%) and Welding Rods (containing titanium dioxide 14%, aluminum oxide <5%, manganese 1.5%).
