29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: (a) On or about 11/26/2021 and at times earlier - at 2600 McFarland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405, in the stockroom/warehouse area, employees were exposed to trip and fall hazards because boxes, pallets, carts, dollies and other materials were stored in piles on the walking-working surfaces. Ross Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.22(a)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1307901, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/27/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 8219 TX-151, San Antonio, TX 78245.
