Employees in the production and fabrication area operating slot saws were exposed to continuous noise levels at 125.3 % of permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 91.6 dBA), during the 303 minutes sampling period on December 1, 2021; exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 177 minutes not sampled. The employer failed to administer a hearing conservation program.
