29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv):There were damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of electric equipment, such as parts that were broken, bent, cut or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: a) Receiving area - On or about 12/2/21, one EnerSys Inc. battery charger , operating at or about AC input of 208/240 volts and 20/18 amperes and DC output at or about 24 volts and 88 amperes, was charging a lead acid battery on a Crown powered industrial truck. One of the emergency stop button junction boxes was bent which created an opening to energized electrical conductors. The junction box was a damaged part that may adversely affect the safe operation of the charger. b) Receiving area - On or about 12/2/21, one EnerSys Inc. battery charger , operating at or about AC input of 208/240 volts and 20/18 amperes and DC output at or about 24 volts and 88 amperes, was charging a lead acid battery on a Crown powered industrial truck. Metal conduit provides electrical power to one of the emergency stop buttons. The conduit was bent which can damage the energized electrical conductors. The conduit was a damaged part that my adversely affect the safe operation of the charger. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
