29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, in a readily accessible way, subjecting the employees to injuries. a. On or about December 2, 2021, at the hangar/warehouse southeast corner, one 10-pounds, ABC dry chemical, portable fire extinguisher was not readily accessible. Physical access to the extinguisher was hampered by multiple boxes, wood, and plastic pallets, among other items, stored in the surrounding floor. b. On or about December 2, 2021, at the hangar/warehouse northwest corner, one 10-pounds, ABC dry chemical, portable fire extinguisher was not readily accessible. Physical access to the extinguisher was hampered by multiple steel drums and plastic gas cans, among other items, stored in the surrounding floor. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.

On or about December 2, 2021, at the hangar/warehouse southeast corner, one (1) electrical service panel in the area was not readily accessible. Access to the electrical service panel was hampered by multiple boxes, wood, and plastic pallets, among other items, stored in the surrounding floor.
