29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): Employer failed to provide safe access/egress to scaffold when scaffold platforms are more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access. Use of portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from another scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface shall be provided by the employer. Cross braces shall not be used as a means of access;  a) Commercial construction located at 2911 Chapel Hill Rd. Suite 200 Douglasville, GA 30135. Front side of the structure: On or about 12/3/2021 and times prior, the employer failed to ensure that a safe means to ascend or descend from a tubular welded scaffold system was provided to and/or utilized by employees. A ladder, whether free standing or fixed to the scaffolding component(s), was not available to employees working from scaffolding during the installation of bricks.
